The Journey – a Process of Emotional and Physical healing
I just got back from a seminar in Colorado that was just amazing. I am studying to be a practitioner of “the journey process”. The journey, by Brandon Bays, is an amazing process of self healing. It is a simple, yet powerful step-by-step process that gives us the tools to tap into our body’s infinite wisdom and elicit its unlimited healing power. It gives us the opportunity to get to the root cause of long-standing emotional and physical issues.
The seminar that I attended this weekend is called, Healing with Conscious Communication. It is a brilliant program and I learned a lot about how to communicate more effectively with people. All I could think about was how I would use it with my husband.
I also learned a lot of other mini processes that help heal phobias and bad habits (smoking & nail biting). I also learned a powerful vow process that identifies and removes old vows and replaces them with new wholesome ones. Vows are very powerful and take on a life of their own. They literally take up residence in every cell of the body. If we just look at marriage vows, they live on long after two people have gotten a divorce. It’s as if you’re still attached to the person, literally hooked in. People who have gotten divorced know what I mean. Another vow could be something like, “I’ll never be like my father” or “I’m never going to let someone get close enough to hurt me again.” We’ve all made vows throughout our lives and it’s important to remove those that are no longer serving us because they are still operating on an unconscious level.
Going to these journey seminars is always an awakening for me. I learn so much about myself and clear out so much of the old stuff that is no longer serving me. The people I meet on this amazing journey just warms my heart. We are all looking for freedom……the freedom that comes with knowing that we are perfect exactly the way we are; the freedom that comes with knowing that we deserve to live a life of abundance and the freedom that comes with forgiveness and acceptance of what is.
Colorado is a beautiful place and I look forward to my next visit at the end of May. I will be going to the “No Ego” retreat, a dynamic and humorous six-day retreat where I’ll wake up to the ways in which I’ve set up my ‘game’. I’ll penetrate the lie of my own limitations and obliterate the notion that I was ever anything but pure, unbounded freedom. I can’t wait! I’ll also be 36 weeks pregnant by then so that will add to the fun.
All of us have issues by which we have felt trapped or feel covered-up or blocked in some way, unable to cope, limited by strong emotions such as – anger, fear, depression, grief, hurt, and anxiety. It could also be a restless feeling of knowing that there is something more. If this is you, I strongly suggest you read Brandon Bays book “The Journey”. It will change you life….if you let it. It has changed mine.
